300/400 Hydrosorb   APPLICATION   300/400 HYDROSORB" I Spin-on Filters are designed for service station pumps and dispensers. HYDROSORB® I spin-on filters are designed to remove tree water, emulsified water, and particulates from diesel fuels, gasoline, and fuel oils. 300/400 HYDROSORB® II Spin-on Filters are specially designed to pass allowable amounts of water entrained in certain diesel fuels and gasolines such as MTBE blends. Refer to the "Filtration Technology for Fuels" for specific information regarding differences between HYDROSORB® I and HYDROSORB® II. 300/400 HYDRQSORB" I and Il Spin-on Filters are compatible with gasoline-alcohol blends of 10% or less, but will not remove water. Phase separation will not be detected if it occurs. 300/400 HYDROSORB® I and II Spin-on Filters are not to be used with aviation fuels, methanol, or methanol-blended fuels. 300 HYDROSORB FEATURES The maximum flow is 15 gpm/56 Ipm. The maximum working pressure is 50 psi/3.4 bar. The maximum differential pressure is 25 psi/1.7 bar. The HYDROSORB® 300 Series Spin-on Filters have a standard 3/4" opening required for most service station pumps and dispensers. The 300HS-10 Type 1 or Type 2, a nominal 10 micron, is recommended for gasoline and diesel fuels. The 300HS-30 Type 1 or Type 2, a nominal 30 micron, may be preferred for heavier distillates such as diesel fuel and fuel oils. The water-holding capacity for the 300H S-10 Type 1 and Type 2 and the 300HS-30 Type 1 and Type 2 is 130 milliliters or 4.5 ounces before flow restriction occurs. The 300 HYDROSORB® Spin-on Filters are recognized by Underwriters Laboratories for use on service station pumps and dispensers.
