I have personally inspected over 6000 properties since 1993. I have a Master Degree education from UMass Boston. I have had undergraduate engineering and biosciences studies (structural and mold evaluation)
I fulfill 20 hours of continuing education every year. I own and use high-tech equipment such as gas and CO leak detectors and electrical and moisture meters.
I am available Saturdays. I generate easy-to-read inspection reports, which are emailed and faxed out the same day.

Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort.
